Dear Residents,
As is seen throughout the country, there is a nationwide shortage of election officials – these are the friendly faces you see on Election Day who help to facilitate the election process and help to be sure every vote is counted! Due to both the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the smaller size of our municipality, Elmwood Park is also in need of new recruits.
You can choose to either be an Election Official, or a “Chief Inspector” who helps oversee the process from beginning to end. This is an easy way to get involved in your community, and help make sure our democracy thrives.
Position comes with easy training, a small stipend, and the ocassional yummy treat!
